The PhD Club, Faculty of Humanities

The PhD Club is a local union branch for and by PhD scholars at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Copenhagen.

The PhD Club is a local union branch under the unions in Akademikernes Centralorganisation. If you are a member of one of those unions and enrolled as a PhD scholar at the Faculty of Humanities, you are already a member of the club.

The club has three aims

  • advancing the work conditions, we have as PhD scholars.

  • highlighting and promoting the professional interests, which is particularly connected to the work as a PhD scholar. In cooperation with the unions we will hold meetings for instance concerning stress or career opportunities

  • creating networks and events across the departments and promoting the social life, one has as a PhD scholar. This may be drinking beers Friday afternoon, seeing a movie, playing football or something else.

The club is communicating primarily through the its Facebook group. Please join the group, as it is there you will find or promote events, receive mails etc.
