Admission
Can I apply for admission to a BA programme at the faculty?
Yes you can, but presently you need to speak Danish. See the admission information (in Danish). ![]()
Can I apply for admission to an MA programme at the faculty?
Yes you can, but you need to hold a relevant bachelor degree and live up to our language requirements. ![]()
Can I study at the faculty for a limited time as an Exchange or Guest Student?
Yes, if you are academically qualified and your home university will let you use your stay here as part of your current degree programme. Read more. ![]()
What are the deadlines for applying for admission?
The application deadlines for the faculty MA programmes are different depending on whether you are a national from within or without the EEA (European Economic Area). If you want to become a BA student, guest or exchange students other deadlines apply. Read more on our admission page. ![]()

What does your degree structure look like?
Our BA programmes equal 180 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) points, and consist of three years of full-time studies. Our MA programmes consist of 120 ECTS points, and consist of two years of full-time studies. Read more about our degree structure. ![]()
What credit system do you use?
We use the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) in which 60 ECTS credits equal one year of full-time studies. Read more about our credit system. ![]()
What are the academic standards at the faculty?

Language requirements
Do I need to speak Danish to study at the faculty?
Not necessarily. Some of our MA programmes are offered in English and a range of individual courses are offered in English and available to exchange and guest students. For our BA programmes you need to know Danish. Read about language requirements.![]()

Do I need to speak English to study at the faculty?
Yes! We require academic level English for all students. Read about language requirements. ![]()
How do I prove my English qualifications?
The faculty accepts the TOEFL and IELTS tests. Read about language requirements. ![]()
Tuition fees
Is it free to study at the faculty?
The cost of studying here as a full degree or guest student depends on your nationality. Exchange students do not pay tuition fees. Read more about tuition fees for full degree students and for guest students. ![]()
Are any scholarships available for qualified applicants?
A limited number of grants covering tuition fees are offered for qualified applicants for full degree programmes from outside the European Economic Area. Read more about tuition fees. ![]()
